Multnomah Falls - october 2008
Multnomah Falls is a stunning waterfall situated in Oregon on the I-84 interstate highway, between Portland and Hood River road, in the Columbia River Gorge.
Originating on Larch Mountain, the water falls 620 feet to the swirl pool below - the ever-present mist providing a lush environment for plants and ferns in the surrounding valley sides. The second falls below the bridge provide a picuresque scene from the lookout points and nearby road.
